It depends on where you are i.e., country and circumstances. Peeing in a bush in the middle of the night in a deserted park isnt going to get you in as much trouble as taking a squat on the sidewalk in the middle of the daytime. brbrAnd it is not only a fineable offense but also a jailable offense in Thailand.brbrIn the US, at the very least, you might get hit for public indecency, public urination yes there IS a penal code for this act, and maybe some other stuff the cop could tack on and believe me, they DO check for arrest warrants, unpaid parking tickets and the like when something stupid comes up.
